Panama's long-awaited expansion of shipping canal opens

Panama opened the long-delayed expansion of its 77-kilometre shipping canal on Jun 26, 2016, with just a dozen of the 70 heads of state invited to see the debut of the third set of locks attending the ceremony. Reuters' Gavino Garay reports
